Pamela Love presentation 2011
W.O.W. I probably wasn’t the only one who was blown away by Pamela Love’s wild collection, which was inspired by the mixing of the alchemical elements of earth, wind, fire, water and air. The presence of Carine Roitfeld and Kate Lanphear made it clear that Love has established a great group of fans.
The styling totally matched her unique pieces of jewelry… The surroundings and the skinny (but very gorgeous) models kind of reminded me of Kiera Knightley in “Pirates of the Caribbean” – am I wrong?

We were so excited to see what kind of sequin glory Ashish would come up with for SS11, and the collection was just as cool and unpretentious as expected! We couldn’t do anything but smile and wish for a sequined dingo top!

Gucci SS11
Yesterday morning I arrived in Milan, had a quick nap and went to the Gucci SS11 show at Piazza Oberdan. The collection was very sexy with a lot of bright colours, black and gold, leather, fringes and tassels. There were two Gucci shows – one at 2 pm and one at 3 pm. I spoke to James Goldstein and he thought the collection was so amazing that he saw the show twice. Now that’s cool!
