Gucci SS11 re-see
Yesterday I stopped by Gucci’s headquarters in Milan where I got to see the SS11 collection up close. The collection is so sophisticated and glamourous and I love the ethnic touch. I especially had my eyes on a long, flowing tuxedo jacket which could also be used as a dress. The leather items are hand made and are densely laced and dotted with gold hardware.
Designers Remix SS11
Designers Remix showed their SS11 collection in London this time, and the collection was clean, monochrome and sharp with a hint of colours. Very wearable and well styled, so hopefully they did well in London!
I’m wearing Topshop jeans, creepers from Underground, Stine Goya tshirt, second hand jacket, Selma Lamai bag and Sophie Bille Brahe earcuff.
Chau Har Lee
We discovered these amazing stilettos designed by Chau Har Lee at the New Gen exhibition at Somerset House. Wauw, never seen anything like them before and think they’re all beautiful! They’re available at Selfridges in London on a made-to-order basis, but they’re probably really expensive as they are like puzzles, put together from several individual pieces.
