Tidligere idag var vi til Topshop’s Unique show, hvor der blev præsenteret en “Where the wild things are”-inspireret kollektion, og der var ikke sparet på gevirer, pels og fjer! Vi løb ind backstage for at fange nogle billeder inden alt blev pakket væk igen.

Earlier today we went by Topshop Unique’s show where they presented the “Where the wild things are”-inspired collection, and it wasn’t short of antlers, fur and feathers! We ran backstage to get some pictures, before everything was packed away again.

Jeg har lige fået lækker morgenmad hos Amanda, som bor herovre. Hun bor i den sejeste lejlighed i Brooklyn med tre andre og jeg er blevet fast besluttet på også at flytte herover inden længe! Nu går turen desværre til lufthavnen. Ses i DK!

I’ve just had a delish breakfast at Amanda’s place. She lives in the coolest apartment in Brooklyn with three others and I’m very determined to move here in a not too distant future. But for now I’ll only be going to the airport instead – see you back in DK!

Lidt forsinkede billeder fra Camilla Stærks FW10 præsentation i søndags. Modellerne stod op ad den hvide væg hele aftenen i Milk Studios, hvilket var genialt, da man havde rig mulighed for at komme helt tæt på og se tøjet ordentligt. Kollektionen var eksklusiv og sofistikeret, men samtidig very ready-to-wear. Jeg elskede det hele! Hvad siger I?

Slightly delayed pictures from the Camilla Staerk FW10 presentation this Sunday. The models were lined up in front of the white wall all night in Milk Studios, which was really cool as you had the opportunity to get a real close look at the clothes. The collection was exclusive and sophisticated and, yet, very ready-to-wear. I loved everything! What do you think?

Av mine ben, vi har gået rundt hele dagen! Men det var hyggeligt og jeg fik endelig skoene jeg bestilte for længe siden. Hentede dem på messen hvor jeg mødtes med designeren, da de har været en lidt besværlig bestillingsproces igennem. Har tidligere skrevet om det bæredygtige mærke her. Nu skal vi ud og ha’ en pint!

Auch! My legs are sore after walking around all day! But it was nice and I finally got the shoes I ordered a while back. I picked them up at the fair, where I met the designer, as they’ve been through a somewhat problematic ordering process. I’ve written about the sustainable label here. Now we’re going out for a pint!

LDN day 1

Day 1

Vores dag startede ud med morgenmad på 1001 (101 Brick Lane, London, E1 6SE), som varmt kan anbefales – også til dagens øvrige måltider. Vi har begge været der før, så det var et dejligt gensyn. Beklager det MEGET interessante billede af mig, der spiser frugt, men det var det eneste, vi havde derfra.

Started the day with breakfast at 1001 (101 Brick Lane, London, E1 6SE), which is highly recommendable. We’ve both been there before, so it was nice to be back. I’m really sorry about interesting picture of me eating fruits, but it was the only one we had.

LDN day 1

Derefter tog vi til Somerset house, hvor alle checker ind til modeugen. Vi var godt klar over, at folk giver den en tand ekstra herovre under modeugen fashionwise, så man kan godt føle sig lidt underdressed

After that we went to Somerset House, where everybody checks in for the fashion week. We knew that people are prone to dress up more over here, so we find ourselves feeling a little underdressed.
